Roleplan / The AI Audit

Find the hours hiding in your business.

A 45-minute diagnostic. A written prescription. Five hours a week back, guaranteed, or you don’t pay.

Every founder we meet is doing hours of work each week that a system should be doing. Not because they’re behind, but because nobody has sat down with them and said: this task, this tool, this much time back.

That’s the audit. Think of it as the scan before any surgery: we diagnose where your week is going, prescribe the exact fixes, and put honest numbers on what each one is worth. What you do next is up to you.

— Why an audit

“The problem isn’t that AI can’t help your business. It’s that you’re too busy running the business to work out where. So the tools pile up unopened, the competitors feel like they’re moving faster, and the week stays full. Forty-five minutes fixes the ‘where’.”

— How it works

Diagnose. Prescribe. Walk through. Done.

01 45 minutes · recorded

The interview

A structured call about how your business actually runs. Where the work piles up, what you dread, what you’ve tried to automate and abandoned. We only ask questions. We never pitch.

02 48 hours · our side

The analysis

We take the transcript apart with the same AI systems we build for clients. Every pain point gets matched against what exists off the shelf and what we’d build custom, then stress-tested for your size of business.

03 the deliverable

The prescription

A written report: three to seven fixes, each with the tool or system, what it costs, how long it takes to set up, and the hours it hands back. Plus a four-day quick-start plan so you know exactly where to begin.

04 30 minutes · together

The walkthrough

We go through the report line by line on a call. You leave knowing what to do yourself, what’s worth our help, and what to ignore. No obligation past this point.

— The bar every fix has to clear

If it doesn’t pull one of three levers, we don’t prescribe it.

01

Effectiveness

Makes you more money. Faster follow-ups, fewer dropped leads, proposals out the same day.

02

Efficiency

Gives you time back. The inbox, the reporting, the copy-paste between tools.

03

Quality

Makes the product better. Fewer mistakes, faster answers, a sharper client experience.

That’s the whole test. No prescriptions for AI’s sake, no tool lists padded to look thorough. Three to seven fixes that make you money, save you time, or sharpen the product. Usually all three.

— The difference

Most AI consultants can only prescribe. We build.

There’s a wave of AI assessment shops right now whose entire business is the report. They can tell you what to buy; they’ve never built any of it. Their recommendations come from tool directories.

We spend our week building these systems: assistants that run founders’ inboxes, finance dashboards that update themselves, WhatsApp agents that close leads at 2am. The prescriptions in your report come from delivery, not from a search.

It also means the audit has a floor most can’t offer: if a finding is worth building properly, the same team that diagnosed it can ship it — and your $999 comes off the price.

WHERE THE $999 GOES
You implement it yourself The report is the product. Most fixes are off-the-shelf tools plus the quick-start plan. You need nothing else from us.
You want our help The $999 is credited toward any build or retainer. The audit effectively becomes free.
We find less than 5 hrs/week Full refund. It hasn’t happened yet, but the guarantee is real.
— For you if
  • You run a business with roughly 2–20 people
  • You’re personally doing work a system should be doing
  • You know AI matters but haven’t had time to work out where it fits
  • You’d rather get a straight prescription than another demo
— Not for you if
  • ×You want someone to say AI will fix everything (it won’t)
  • ×You’re after a cheap chatbot for the website
  • ×Nobody on the team will spend ten minutes a day implementing

Asked before booking.

What exactly do I get for $999?+

A 45-minute structured interview, a written report prescribing 3–7 specific fixes (tool or system, cost, setup time, hours saved), a four-day quick-start plan, the ROI maths for your business, and a 30-minute walkthrough call. The report is yours to keep and act on with or without us.

What does "5 hours or your money back" mean?+

If the audit can’t identify at least 5 hours per week of reclaimable time in your business, we refund the full $999. The average across audits so far is around 7 hours a week. The only thing you can lose is 45 minutes.

Is this just a sales pitch for your retainer?+

No. Most of what we prescribe is off-the-shelf software you can set up yourself in under an hour, and the report tells you exactly how. Some findings are bigger builds, and if you want our help with those, the $999 is credited toward the build. But the report stands on its own.

How is this different from a free AI consultation?+

Free consultations are pitches wearing a costume. You pay for the audit, so we work for you: the recommendations are what your business needs, not what we happen to sell. And unlike assessment-only consultants, we build these systems daily, so the prescriptions come from delivery experience rather than a directory search.

What kind of businesses is this for?+

Owner-run businesses with roughly 2–20 people: agencies, e-commerce brands, advisories, dealerships, clinics, management companies. If you’re the founder and your week is full of work a system should be doing, it fits.

Do I need to prepare anything?+

No. Come as you are. The interview is designed to pull out what we need. If you have a list of tasks you hate, bring it, but we’ll find them either way.

45 minutes. Your whole week, itemised.

Book the audit. If we can’t find you at least five hours a week, it costs you nothing. If we can, you’ll know exactly what to fix first and what it’s worth.
